Poster Artist: John Marsh

John Marsh, a visual historian, captured the International Vehicle Design theme on canvas to share with the automotive design community and automotive enthusiasts. The theme celebrates key automotive designers who are the people responsible for influencing design around the world.

A well known and internationally respected artist, Jay Koka's work is ever-changing in color, texture and composition reflective of a man who is constantly searching and continuously evolving his work. Skillful manipulation of color and mood plus considered composition and an occasionally impressionist style are the hallmarks of the artist who is never satisfied with the status quo and always brings a true element of surprise to the viewer at each new exhibition.

The poster is a 7-color separation of the original art by DaimlerChrysler designer Bob Hubbach. This poster commemorates the 12th Annual EyesOn Design automotive exhibition and represents our 1999 Featured Design "The Great American Convertible."

The 1998 EyesOn Classic Design poster is a 7-color separation by Brophy of the original art by designer Pete Lawlis, commemorating the 11th Annual EyesOn Classic Design automotive design exhibition. In addition, there will be 100 posters signed and numbered by the artist for sale for $100 each.

100 signed and numbered prints of the original artwork only in 7-color separation will be sold for $200 each.

This poster elebrates 100 years of Oldsmobile manufacture. The four vehicles photographed by Donald J. Schwarz at the Ford House are the 1902 Curved Dash Oldsmobile, the 1949 Oldsmobile 88 Town Car, the 1997 Oldsmobile Aurora and the Oldsmobile Alero Alpha Concept Car.

The 1934 Ford Coupe, the 1947 Jeep CJ-3A and the 1951 LeSabre Concept Car represent the surviving American automotive manufacturers in this poster which celebrates a century of American automotive design.

The feature vehicle, 1953 Studebaker Commander Regal Starliner Hardtop, was photographed by Tom Drew. Art direction of the poster was by Mark Nowery and incorporates Studebaker styling sketches of Robert J. Bourke along its border.

Michelle Bihan designed this springtime poster which features the 1962 Ford Mustang Concept Car, the 1964 Mustang Convertible and the 1965 Ford Mustang Fastback. Balthazar Korab was once again the photographer in this last of the "four seasons" poster. Note also, that the name of the event was changed to EyesOn Classic Design in 1994.

This poster features the 1941 Lincoln Continental Cabriolet and was photoraphed at the Edsel & Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores by renowned photorapher, Balthazar Korab. Set in wintertime at the Ford House, it is the first of the "four seasons" posters.

Designed by Amy Lebowsky, this poster features a photograph by Bob Williams of Northlight Studios. The photo depicts the future reflected in the windshield of a "classic" car.
