EyesOn Design Car Show

The EyesOn Design Car Show is an international exhibition which celebrates automotive design excellence and is held annually on Father’s Day at the Edsel and Eleanor Ford House in Grosse Pointe Shores, Michigan. It features vehicles from the past, present and future with a changing theme each year. A distinguished panel of judges awards vehicles top honors.

EyesOn Design at NAIAS

The DIO presents the Crystal Design Awards each year to the automotive designers of exceptional vehicles during Press Week of the North American International Auto Show. A highly distinguished international panel of judges from various design disciplines select the award recipients. It is held at Cobo Hall in Detroit, Michigan.

DIO Detroit Free Press Marathon

Each year the Detroit Free Press sponsors a marathon in October. The DIO sponsors walkers to participate in a 5K Walk during the Marathon which raises money for the DIO. All proceeds from this fundraiser benefit the Institute’s mission to assist and educate the visually impaired, help preserve vision by public and professional education and support research related to the eye.
