Vision Honored Black Tie Banquet
The black tie banquet, Vision Honored, will be held on June 26th, the evening prior to the EyesOn Design car show, at the amazing new General Motors Heritage Center.
The evening will again be strictly limited to 500 attendees. Ticket sales are well along even before the invitation has been mailed.
This will be the first charity event held in the General Motors Heritage Center. Within this 65,000 square foot room will be 50 tables for 10 persons. Surrounding this central dining area will be 200 vehicles from all eras representing every marque and famous vehicle from General Motors’ corporate history.
At
the Vision Honored dinner, Chuck Pelly, the legendary designer of the Chaparral
and Scarab race cars will be presented the DIO’s Lifetime Design Achievement
Award.
The Intier Division of Magna will again present a silent auction of original
works by the 17 artists who will have full displays of their work at the Edsel
& Eleanor Ford House on June 27th EyesOn Design
car show.
The Vision Honored evening traditionally gives attendees an excellent opportunity to chat and rub elbows with automotive corporate celebrities prior to the dinner, and another opportunity for “schmoozing” following the formal dinner at the cappuccino and dessert extravaganza tables.
