The Eye and The Auto 2001 was the first international forum held by The Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology on the relationship between vision and the safe operation of a motorized vehicle. Thirty-two faculty members met at the DaimlerChrysler Design Dome in Auburn Hills MI on June 14-16, 2001.
