The Eye and The Chip 2000 was the first international meeting organized by The Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology. Twenty-two world-renowned faculty members were brought to Detroit to discuss artificial vision. They met at LDM Technologies in Auburn Hills MI on June 16-17, 2000.
