1956 Buick Century Convertible
The secret of the Century's amazing capacity to perform is its tremendous power and its lighter weight. It has power and performance to spare. Its light and easy handling has excellent roadability, improved economy, and many Buick features that give it extra riding and handling comfort.
With the same 122-inch wheelbase as the Buick Special, the Century now boasts a power plant that has been increased to a mighty 255 horsepower. This is the same 322-cubic-inch Fireball V-8 engine that powers the mighty Roadmasters and Supers. And, as standard equipment, the Century has the new "Double Action Take-Off" Variable Pitch Dynaflow.
