Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology/Detroit Free Press Marathon - Steps for Sight
In October each year the Detroit Institute of Ophthalmology/Detroit Free Press sponsor a marathon. DIO has been one of the “Run for Reason” Charities since 2005 you can “Lend an Arm” by partnering with a Visually Impaired or Blind participant, or you can enter on your own.
Participants can register for:
- 5K Fun Run & Fitness Walk Kids Mini-Marathon
- Marathon & Half Marathon
- Half-Marathon Competitive Walk or Non-Competitive Walk
- 5-Person Marathon Relay Teams
Participate in any of the events and collect pledges for the DIO.
